1. Setting up a Broker Account

If you already have a broker account and happy with the broker, just skip this chapter.

Broker is someone who mediates between buyers and sellers. In a sensible world, brokers only live on percentage fees. In our world they earn on spread, random jumps in market inverventions here and there, consuing EAs and especially on unsuccessful traders.

AI for Gold is known to work best with IC Markets (as of 17.th July 2023). However, further updates will enable trading on all brokers with higher leverage (1:30+) or accounts with 10k+.

In case you need to open a new broker account, have a look at these steps for IC-Markets:

First, create a trial account at IC-Markets. That’s very quick. You can do that right away and start testing the AI for Gold on a demo account.

In this video you can see step by step how to create an account with IC-Markets. The video also includes the answers to the profile rating questions.

Final approval of your registration might take little bit longer because you will have to collect a few official documents.

You’ll probably need these documents to register:

• Photos of ID card

• Scan or photo of an official document confirming your address (utility bill, tax office notice, phone bill, …).
